Getting Back on Track

Ok, I have a confession.  I did not stick as strictly to the nutrition plan this weekend.  I went over with  my carbs on Saturday, and splurged a bit on Sunday, and I felt completely guilty for it afterwards.  But, I am not going to beat myself up over it now.  I know that pictures and measurements are coming up soon, so I have to give it my all this recovery week.  I hope all of you are committed to staying on track, or in my case, getting back on track, and I look forward to hearing about your progress on day 30.  Have a great recovery week!

  1. We didn't stay on track this weekend either. However, overall we still were making better food choices than we normally would. But today we are getting back on track. My pants from before getting pregnant are starting to fit again and I went from the first hole in my belt (right after Jordan was born) to the third hole. Yay, this is working. I think, if I have the time I want to add in pp90x 3 days a week to get some tone for my arms. We'll see. that is a lot to do but I like the results my arms get with p90x. I'm glad to hear you are staying comitted with p90x. I still love reading your posts, they have really been keeping me motivated.

  3. Yeah, I think the key is sticking to the meal plan, even when you have the occasional "oops". We've done pretty good to sticking to the meal plan, but sometimes you're in a situation where you have to make the beast meal choice with what you've got. As long as you don't make it into a habit and realize that you need to get back on track I think we'll be OK overall. With the better meal choices and exercise the occasional "oops" shouldn't derail us unless we make it into a reoccuring habit. Cooking on Sunday's for the week has helped us get through the week and definately helps us stick to our meal plan. Unfortunately the stuff we make usually doesn't look as pretty as the meal pics on this blog...LOL!!
